I can't tell you how excited I got when one of my clients said  'I have access to a farm, will that work for pictures?' UMMM....YA!  If I had the opportunity, I would buy a farm and turn it into my studio all year round.  I'm so not kidding!  The textures, the landscape, the space..it's ALL perfect for fun, artistic photos.  So, imagine my excitment when I was contacted from France to book a family session on a farm in Norway.   I couldn't have imagined a nicer setting and the images are some  of my faves! Here are a few (ok LOTS) of them.

Thank you so much to all of you Benedikte, I had a wonderful time playing with the boys and I do think you grew up in paradise!!

Brothers | fotograf Bærum

I find that photography has really blossomed into something more than just taking photographs and clicking the shutter.   It's almost become an addiction. I'm addicted to the smell only newborns have (I always said if I could bottle up Eau de baby I would be seriously wealthy), I'm addicted to watching the look of facination, love and utter joy new parents have when watching their babies and I'm addicted to capturing these moments for them to enjoy forever.   I have the greatest job in the world in my humble opinion.  As I witness the daily changes of my own growing children, I find myself reminiscing on their own first few weeks of life every time I get a newborn in front of my lens.  

So with that little paragraph of seriousness, I would like to introduce the first set of twins to be photographed by Fotografix Studios.  Can I get a woo and a hoo?  Bastian and Theodor. Two absolutely BEAUTIFUL baby boys who made my heart go pitter patter.  I loved every second of working hard with Vibeke getting the boys to sleep, setting up the shots and photographing these two sweet brothers.
